Book-Talks: Foster / Small Things Like These (by Claire Keegan)

If you enjoy reading and talking about literature, join our weekly meeting of bookworms! Please bring your own copy of the book, your ideas and your questions! Newcomers are always welcome!
Foster, first published in 2010, and Small Things Like These, published in 2021, are both finely etched portraits of Irish society in the 1980s. They are novellas beautifully penned by the internationally acclaimed author Claire Keegan, who handles Irish social history with oblique precision, exploring most difficult public matters in a non-secular state.
