Love knitting and want to practise your English? At "Knit & Chat" you can do both! Bring your knitting project, enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, and chat in English with fellow knitters. All English-levels are welcome – from learners to native speakers. Guided by an English trainer (and passionate knitter), this group is all about yarn, conversation, and good company. Please bring your own knitting materials and projects.  

At this summertime we have another aspect of wild growing herbs. Most of them are now well grown and developed and full with etherian oils which we can smell and taste. To collect them and later on eat them will be a culinary delight in your menu. This excursion is for learning how to recognize them and distinguish features to poisened species and for collecting. Of course there is something to try: A pesto of wild herbs with the excursion leader. Have a good time in an international group and enjoy nature!

Dieser Kurs ist für Teilnehmer*innen gedacht, die bereits circa 4 bis 5 Jahre Vorkenntnisse in der englischen Sprache haben und das freie Sprechen aktiv üben wollen. In entspannter Atmosphäre werden wir über verschiedene Themen sprechen und diskutieren. Dabei werden gezielt wichtige Wortschatzbereiche und Redewendungen behandelt. Kleingruppe 5 bis 8 Teilnehmer*innen This course will focus on the real world use of English in business. It is not about the perfect use of grammar or about learning long lists of vocabulary, instead we will focus on effective cross-cultural communication. Topics will be: communication strategies, real world email writing, speaking and the lost word, supporting your English with Powerpoint, polite interruptions, how to learn while working, discussing projects and the failed plan. Skill level required: higher B1 or lower B2 level.

Kleingruppe 5 bis 8 Teilnehmer*innen Our public administration and our townhalls get more and more international. This course offers the language needed for effective communication with citizens, clients and colleagues. Technical terms dealing with important topics related to public administration and intercultural competence are included.
