Samstagsseminar Kleingruppe 5 bis 8 Teilnehmer*innen Medical English-Kurs für medizinische Fachangestellte Unsere Arbeitswelt wird zunehmend interkultureller - auch im medizinischen Bereich begegnen wir immer häufiger Menschen mit unterschiedlichsten sprachlichen Hintergründen, die wir oft nicht in ihrer eigenen Sprache betreuen können. Da hilft uns als Brücke das Englische. In diesem eintägigen Workshop haben Sie die Gelegenheit auf mittlerem Sprachniveau Ihr Fachenglisch zu verbessern. Inhalte: Telefongespräche mit Patient*innen - Informationen geben, Gespräche an der Rezeption, persönliche Daten erfragen, Beschwerden entgegen nehmen, Fragen der Patient*innen beantworten (z. B. Dieser Kurs ist für Teilnehmer*innen (ab circa 4 bis 5 Jahren Englisch) gedacht, die das B1-Niveau bereits absolviert haben und die neben einer gründlichen Wiederholung wichtiger grammatischer Themen vor allem das freie Sprechen üben sowie systematisch ihr Englisch verbessern möchten. Der Kurs bereitet optimal auf die Niveaustufe B2 vor. Das Lehrmaterial wird im Kurs bekannt gegeben. Die Teilnehmer*innen werden freundlich gebeten, zur ersten Kursstunde 4 Euro für Kopien und Materialkosten mitzubringen.

Kleingruppe 5 bis 8 Teilnehmer*innen This course will focus on the real world use of English in business. It is not about the perfect use of grammar or about learning long lists of vocabulary, instead we will focus on effective cross-cultural communication. Topics will be: communication strategies, real world email writing, speaking and the lost word, supporting your English with Powerpoint, polite interruptions, how to learn while working, discussing projects and the failed plan. Skill level required: higher B1 or lower B2 level. There will be no class on December 4th, 2025.

Taking a new letter of the alphabet each week, we will discuss a topic which starts with this letter in an enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere. The focus will be on increasing fluency in spoken English, expanding one's vocabulary and becoming more confident in the use of grammar structures.

This course will give you the chance to improve your English communication skills in a relaxed atmosphere. Easy, but interesting topics will provide the background to this course to encourage students to practice their English in small discussion groups.
