The vhs club INTERNATIONAL is an ideal place to meet and interact with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. In fact, people from across the globe come here to learn and share their new ideas, colorful experiences and cultural disparities. So do not miss these interesting intercultural get-togethers. There are endless learning opportunities for everyone here.
Intercultural get-together
Join in for a little chit-chat, a casual debate or perhaps a discussion on cultural issues with people across boundaries. But these monthly get togethers are also about improving linquistic skills. For instance, if you are learning a foreign language, or German as a foreign language, then you could improve your learning experience by meeting native speakers, who give you an insight into the lives of local people and their traditions.
Newcomers' Club der FAU
FAU’s Newcomers’ Club, initiated by the Faculty of Medicine, is a platform for newcomers from all countries and their families. The Club aims to be a starting point for joint activities such as toddlers’ groups, sports, games, meetings to discuss arts or literature, excursions and conversation groups.
Movies from across continentsat the vhs Club INTERNATIONAL
A series of films from across continents will be shown at the vhs club INTERNATIONAL. It will not just be a cinematic journey through different countries, but an opportunity to learn and experience diverse traditions and cultures.
Native speakers of different nationalities would introduce films from their country and give you an insight into their local customs and mores. This might also be a great chance to imbibe some new linguistic skills.
